Galeries Lafayette Haussmann
A global event-based fashion retailer and the European market leader in department stores, Galeries Lafayette Haussmann has been a Paris icon since its creation in 1894 and a must-visit venue in the capital. The department store with its renowned Art Nouveau dome offers 65,000 square metres of retail floor space dedicated to fashion, with more than 3,500 brands from around the world, ranging from the affordable to luxury, along with 25 restaurants.
Helping to spread the "French Art of Living" and promote designers, this historic Paris flagship is a theatre of fashion welcoming the world and immersing its French and international clients in a unique experience that distils fashion's creative energy and is rooted in our exclusive customer service standards. The store welcomes 37 million of visitors.
Galeries Lafayette stores
Galeries Lafayette serves customers across France through a network of 56 stores. We maintain a balanced presence in the Paris region and France's main towns and cities. Galeries Lafayette built up this network of stores through a history of consolidation spanning the last several decades, gradually acquiring leading department store names such as Les Dames de France in 1985 and Les Nouvelles Galeries in 1991.
We offer a highly varied range of fashion products, reflecting our position as a retailer carrying everything from affordable to premium brands.
Three additional store openings are planned by 2018: Marseille Prado, Carré Sénart (near Paris) and on the iconic avenue des Champs Elysées in Paris.
We are now branching out from our French roots through targeted expansion in major international capitals, leveraging the potential of our world-renowned brand.
Galeries Lafayette currently has five stores outside France, in Berlin, Germany; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Istanbul, Turkey; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Beijing, China. We have announced the opening of additional stores between now and 2018 in Doha, Qatar; and Milan, Italy. Each of these flagships serves as an ambassador for the brand and helps to spread the "French Art of Living”, locally.
Galeries Lafayette Outlet
Galeries Lafayette has decided to complement its fashion offer available in its traditional department stores network in 2014 by launching its first "Galeries Lafayette Outlet". Galeries Lafayette has a network of seven outlets in the heart of the “One Nation Paris” shopping center (South of Paris), in the “Marques Avenue Center” in Séguinière (Maine-et-Loire), in “Nailloux Outlet Village” (Haute-Garonne), in the "Usine Roubaix" (Nord), in the "Channel Outlet Store in Coquelles (Pas-de-Calais), in the "Roppenheim The Style Outlets" (Bas-Rhin) and in the "Marque Avenue Village" in Talange (Moselle). Galeries Lafayette Outlet offers all year round a large and diversified range of fashion brands from the previous season with very competitive prices.
First department store to deploy the concept in France, Galeries Lafayette offers in its "Outlet" network regular famous brands collections deliveries of textile and accessories for Woman, Men and Children, and make alive the spirit of Galeries Lafayette.
Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet
Drawing on years of expertise in areas other than fashion, Galeries Lafayette offers a premium line of fine food, catering products and services, marketed under the Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet brand in our Galeries Lafayette stores.
Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet aims to offer customers an experience and a space dedicated to fine foods and gastronomy and to establish itself as a temple to the French “Art of Living”. Already in place in the Berlin, Nice and Marseille Galeries Lafayette stores, a new Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet opened in 2014 in the flagship Boulevard Haussmann store in Paris, in a building dedicated to fine foods and homeware.
Each features restaurant counters, a very sophisticated wine cellar and famous, plus a wide range of fresh, delicatessen and specialty foods ranging from the affordable to the upscale.
